5th track of Yeng Constantino’s Journey album, “Tao Lang Ako” is one of my favorites from this album. Easy-listening type of music, typical ‘tagalog’ composition from Pinoy Dream Acadamy’s first big winner. a ‘must-hear’ song from Yeng, ganda ng melody nito…at madaling sabayaN!

This song is not the famous Sakto song sung by Janelle Jamer as a commercial song of Datu Puti Vinegar and Soy packs. =) This Sakto song is an alternative pop/rock song performed by Mayonnaise for their recently launched album - Tersera. Sakto is about offering all you have and all you are to someone, wherein sometimes you still wondering what else can you give to your special someone when you have given your all???

Love Me is another song revival from Kenyo. Love me was originally sung by Michael Cretu. I find Kenyo’s rendition of Love Me similar to the original one. It’s like a mimic of the song. Although Mcoy’s (again) vocal are so good, but I should ask, where’s Kenyo’s originality? Anyway, you should still listen to this song.

“What about us” is Journey’s 6th track from Yeng Constantino. The song is about reminiscing good memories with someone special… and finally realizing that he’s already already gone (tsk tsk..sakit kaya nun..) you’re just left with one thing… one big question.. ” what happened to us??.. and now.. where is this thing called love???” A typical ‘for-the-broken-hearted’ type of song, lyrics is good..madaling maka-relate..hehehe. I personally appreciate the melody and rythm of this song….galing. Download na nito… for your ipod!

Lumbay is a mellow alternative rock song written and composed by the lead vocalist of CALLALILY - Kean Cipriano for their newly launched album FISHEYE. This song is about being sad and lonely but at the end he found a way to overcome it. And that’s to see someone he loved. Well, I guess a lot of people could relate to this song, since we always long for our special someone, and by just thinking of them our day will be brighter.

‘Promise’ is the 3rd track of Yeng’s latst album ‘Journey’. I’m not impressed with this song. Lyrics is ok..but the melody is not that ‘good’ (or maybe i’m just not used to hearing her sing this type of song..specifically with this ’slow paced’ music). The song typically speaks of friendship, promising someone you’ll stand by his/her side.

4th track of Yengs “Journey’ album is full of energy. Typical ‘tagalog’ rock music from Yeng, the song is about having options and having the freedom to choose… ‘Sarap ng may pagpipilian!’ Lyrics is quite impressive plus the songs melody deserve a two-thumbs up! Galing! Surely this song will defintely make its way on-top of the charts…soon!

Ikaw is the first track in the third album of Mayonnaise - Tersera. This is a different type of “IKAW” and definitely not a revival of the famous wedding song “Ikaw” hahaha, it’s an upbeat alternative pop/rock song. The melody is superb however I don’t think the lyrics is good.

Track no. 4, “You and I”, was sung by Sam Milby. This song is almost perfect for Celine and JBs loveteam in Maging Sino Ka Man teleserye. The ‘just you and me’ drama of the couple was clearly depicted in this song, especially the statement from Celine at the end of the song. I like the melody of the song, specially the acoustic intro. However, I think the lyrics of the song were not that impressive. Pero generally, the song is quite good ( is it because it was sung by heartthrob Sam??), slow paced, typical pang tweetums love song.
